DESCRIPTION:Making Asthma Uncommon in the Commonwealth: \n Commemorating World Asthma Day \nPlease join MA Asthma Action Partnership on May 1st\, World Asthma Day\,  at the State House. \nRegister here.   \nDate: May 1\, 2018 \nTime: 9:45 am – 1:30 pm \nLocation: MA State House\, Room 428\n24 Beacon St.\, Boston\, MA 02133 \nLunch will be provided; please indicate any dietary restrictions. \nCome learn about the efforts\, challenges and successes of those who help our Commonwealth’s residents living with asthma\, as well as opportunities to further improve both environmental conditions and health care systems that impact them. MAAP and our partners statewide provide education and promote best practices and policies aimed at eradicating exposures to environmental triggers in homes\, schools\, and the broader community. We also work to increase access to culturally competent and quality clinical care to support asthma management\, particularly for low-income communities and communities of color.
