MAAP and our partners statewide provide education and promote best practices and policies aimed at eradicating exposures to environmental triggers in homes\, schools\, and the broader community. We also work to increase access to culturally competent and quality clinical care to support asthma management\, particularly for low-income communities and communities of color. The presentations will be informal and interactive\, including demonstration of the use of new inhaler devices and discussion of how asthma educators practicing at neighborhood health centers across the state can come together to share ideas and information. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho we are: \nThe Massachusetts Community Health Centers Asthma Educators’ Collaborative (MACHCAEC) is a new initiative of Partners Asthma Center at Brigham and Wom- en’s Hospital created to fill a gap in communication among asthma educators working in community health centers across the state.
